Long Time, No See.

Let's just ignore the fact that I haven't posted anything in six months and focus on the fact that I made a website!

Let's also focus on my new art tumblr!

I'll probably be posting more on that tumblr than here.
Blogger you'll always have a piece of my heart.

Fat and Full of Chocolate

Recently I was asked by my friend, Laura Perez-Harris, at Throat to make a piece for their show, My 5th Birthday, which had it's gallery opening last Thursday! I decided to make a pinata-like unicorn where instead of beating it to unleash delicious candy, you would have to reach into it's anus to grab hand-fulls of chocolate.

Fat and Full of Chocolate
Wire form, Tissue paper, Curling ribbon, Paperclay, Acrylic, Fabric, Liquid Latex

Anyway the opening was a blast, The kind folks at Throat did a marvelous job
setting up the show!

Wall Mounts

While I've been slaving away on my next project, I decided to mount a few of my masks. Now I have more room in my studio and I have excellent wall hangings. Also my hard drive crashed so I needed to retake these photos anyway...
